We are a family of 6 living in the Grand Rapids area of West Michigan. Our blended family began in 2023 where our dream for self-sufficiency and teaching children to find a balance in the world was found. We teach our children to be free thinkers and question and verify ideas to truly be able to make decisions on their own. The variety of content we deliver is all part of helping to grow our children into successful human beings while practicing math, reading, writing, communication, and other critical thinking skills in practical real life scenarios. We have found that outside of the classroom setting, our children do not feel they are doing homework, yet continue to refine and improve skills taught and untaught in the classroom.

Our goal is to continue to improve slowly, striking a balance in self-sufficiency and becoming less reliant on the volatile supply chains of grocery and supply stores, but recognizing that it is most practical to still rely on these businesses to provide us some essentials.
